According to Simon, what is faith?

Faith to Simon was that God has a plan for everyone. He believed that God had made him the way he was because he was put here on Erath for a purpose. That purpose he still could not figure out, but he was such a hero. Simon would ask the priest, do you believe that God really does have a plan for me? The priest took a while and hesitated a bit to answer Simon's question, but then he finally spoke, not for everyone. Simon was not put down by the his answer. he still had the same faith and mentality. On a trip with his church class there was a accident and Simon saved everyone's life in the bus. Everyone's life but his. He risked his own life for a whole others, that made him a hero, and Simon's faith was true and real. God had put him on this Earth for a reason.

What is your purpose or call in life?

I'm still not sure what my purpose is in life; but I know the path I should and want to take. After high school hopefully, I want to continue here in Laredo for two years attending LCC perhaps. After I am done with my basics here, I hope to have my car by then and move in with my best friend over to San Antonio and rent out a apartment there. Both her and I are heading for the same university which is UTSA! We are both majoring in something diffrent, but, overall same school. There, I hope to study criminal justice to become a forensics and make my living from there on. I feel that crime is something that will never go away and when you are a part of a problem that needs to find it's solution, then you must be doing something right. Crime has it's call in life and my purpose is to help cure it.

Your will

Everyone has a will or mabey a few. My will when I pass away is going all directly to my loving, beautiful, and fantastic mother! Hopefully once I am through with my education, I will settle down in a huge city with a big house, a new car, and money that keeps on comming. My mother will have a better life style and not worry or stress about the simplest things. All my belongings and treasured items will also go out to her. This is one of my strong will's yet.

A tribute to your best friend

I have friends everywhere. They are all so diffrent in every way, but I have only a few that I can consider my down good best friends! I will only name two, Mandy and Victoria. Mandy I got to know this year and Victoria I've know her since I was in pre-k. When I'm with Mandy, I always have fun, I can count on her with everything and we can never stop joking around! She is a cheeseball! The better reason to why she is my best friend is because there is never a dull moment with her and any mood that I'm in she puts a smile or a even bigger smile on my face! Victoria on the other hand since we grew up together, has been there through the roughest of times! Her family is like mine and vise versa. We have the strongest friendship and we brake no promise. Every weekend I am thankful for having them around and for God putting them in my life! I love them!

What did Jamal learn from William Forrester?

I would say Jamal learned quite a few things about William Forrester. Jamal learned how to write, and that was the most important thing. Throughout this movie his writing is what got him recognized throughout most things. William thought Jamal one of the most important things when it came to writing; never think just type! When you spend too much time thinking about what to write, you no longer show as much intrest in what you were planning to write in the first place. William proceeded with an example and began to press on the type writer, and from there just couldn't take him off of it. Jamal learned many qoutes and sayings from a variety of authors and books. Jamal was also taught to write what he felt with every detail. William promised Jamal to teach him everything he knows about writing and to make him a tremendously good writer with only one thing in return, that was to promise never to tell a soul that he himself was still alive or that they had any type of communication with each other. Jamal never broke that promise, and with that, Jamal  succeded on becomming what William promised him to be from the start.
